Blarney / Cobh
Should you wish to kiss the Blarney stone - "For the gilt of the gab" - and Blarney castle, its within easy reach, being less than one mile away. Also located in Blarney is the Blarney Woollen Mills for the ideal present for those loved ones at home. Also, Cork is just six miles away. Cobh is a short drive away on the N25, this is a pretty riverside town, formerly known as Queenstown, it's from this port that many thousands of Irish emigrants left for new world America, and it was also the last port of call of the Titanic. It's famous cathedral overlooks the town.
