Historic Day Out
Sweep the cobwebs away with an early morning horse ride through the Glen of Aherlow, which is approximately a half - hour away. Where a very friendly lady, Annette, will help you make this a very enjoyable experience. For the rest of the day, our choices would be a Scenic Drive for the afternoon, which would take you through the "V" valley in the Knockmealdown Mountains, and continue onto Mountmellary and onto Midleton - home of Irish Whiskey, you may like to visit the heritage centre and sample some of the whiskey.

Visit Cahir Castle and Gardens and nearby Swiss cottage, then onto the famous Rock Of Cashel, seat of the high kings of Ireland.
