Mountain Bike Trails
Within a 5 minute drive you can experience Ireland's largest mountain bike trails. There are five loops from the moderate 6km Greenwood taking approx. 1 hour to the demanding Castlepook loop taking approx. 6 hours. Bikes can be rented on site or prebooked by Imelda. Walking
Ballyhoura is an area of woodland, hills, mountains and greenfields. The natural beauty of the area and the tranquillity of the countryside make this a walker's paradise. There are 22 loop walks available throughout the Ballyhoura Country. These walks cater for those interested in a stroll or a more challenging experience.

Golf
With so many golf courses close by, we are ideally located for the golf enthusiast. The world renowned Ballybunion / Lahinch links would make an ideal day trip and Adare Manor is just a short drive away.

Equestrian
Hillcrest is a 20 minute drive away.

Gardening
There are many open gardens in the area. Annesgrove in Castletownroche, well known for its Rhodendron shrubs. Boyces Gardens and Glin Castle Gardens, both of which overlook the River Shannon, are on the Country Limerick Garden Trail.
